What you'll be doing day to day

As a Human Resources Business Partner, facilitating the work strategies for the co-workers and leaders at our Distribution / Customer Fulfillment Center, you will:

  • Work collaboratively with co-workers and leaders to provide guidance on various topics and issues.
  • Lead and develop the Human Resources/People and Culture Team to provide an excellent co-worker experience.
  • Ensure compliance and consistency with people strategies and global principles/guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the managers to support the building of local business competence & performance goals setting.
  • Support the Generalist or Market Area Learning Delivery Specialist in the delivery of learning & training.
  • Collaborate with the Market Area Manager on succession planning and leadership development for high-performing co-worker potential.
  • Ensure all labor relations principles and local policies, procedures, and laws are adhered to.
  • Share responsibility for the distribution of budget hours between the units, enabling an efficient people planning process.
  • Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is strong and embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience. Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role Experience developing people and organizations Ability to influence and inspire Effective communication skills

JOB TYPE – Permanent, Full-time, In Location, Onsite WORK HOURS - Monday to Friday. Occasionally due to business needs may need to be available after hours for coworker relation concerns.
