D&I Talent Strategy Partner

South San Francisco, CA


Job Description

As an IWS D&I Talent Strategy Partner, you have D&I expertise in cultivating and maintaining relationships with D&I executive talent. You will be a member of a global based team, and work throughout the Roche/Genentech network to implement a US D&I Strategic Pipelining plan to become the employer of choice for diverse talent in a competitive market and in aid of Roche's 10-year ambitions.

 

Key Responsibilities


Increase Black, Hispanic/Latinx and Asian representation in the succession plans through identification of diverse talent

Source Black, Hispanic/Latinx and Asian talent for executive pipelines, and succession plans

Cultivate connections with internal and external Black, Hispanic and Asian Director and Global Executive communities--and make introductions to executives.

Activate the business to interact with, advocate for and be accountable for building out their POC-diverse internal and external communities

Working with other D&I IWS Experts and the Strategic Pipelining community, collectively you will provide expertise and partnership to aid the 2025 D&I Representation goal, D&I Officer Succession Plans and D&I Action plans, thus enabling lasting changes aligned with Genentech’s and Roche’s vision, purpose, values and 10 Year Ambitions.

Key Activities


Provide thought stewardship and apt consulting on pipelining, sourcing, and attracting of Black, Hispanic/Latinx and Asian talent 

Design and implement Genentech’s/Roche’s external talent strategy, and achieve approaches to proactively build, operationalize, and develop sustainable, Black, Hispanic/Latinx and Asian talent pipelines

Deliver strategic outcomes; oversee dependencies and help remove obstacles that stand between commitments/goals and business success

Create momentum in the organization for D&I, amplifying existing obligations to create an environment where all staff feel included.

Conduct meaningful and bold business and executive conversations earning you the mutual respect of authorities.

Partner with business authorities and stakeholders to establish D&I talent strategies, measurable D&I objectives  and goals; create processes for holding authorities accountable through KPIs and metrics

Actively participate and contribute to Strategic Pipelining AoP by building D&I talent strategic pipelines, conducting people and capability assessments, spearheading readiness reviews and identifying talent opportunities

Coach and mentor Strategic Pipelining colleagues to build D&I capability in the practice

Who you are


Bachelor’s degree required; degree in HR management, organizational development, or D&I preferred.

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience required; 10+ years of experience in Diversity & Inclusion related positions within Talent Acquisition/Executive Search preferred.

Track record of successfully working with senior executives, high end donors, high net worth people. 

Experience working with confidential or highly confidential data and information.

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.

 The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $137,000 - $255,000.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
