Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Spectrol is currently seeking applicants for a Senior HR Representative. Responsible for HR generalist activities in the administration of recruitment/selection, payroll, benefits, compensation, HRIS, employee relations/activities, health/safety/workers compensation, and HR office duties. Specifically works with company management to handle personnel policy implementation and employee issues. Pay Range: Part Time- 20-25 hours a week. 30.00-40.00 per hour. Job Location: The ideal candidate will be working on-site in the sunshine state of California, USA in the city of Ontario. Ontario is named “The Next Urban Center” and is just one hour away from the Greater Los Angeles Area of great beaches, entertainment and a melting pot of diverse people and culture. What you will be doing:
  • Recruitment, staffing, and onboarding of candidates and new hires
  • Benefit Administration: Orientation, Open Enrollment and Effective communication of
  • Headcount reporting for local site and to the division
  • Maintain time & attendance system for nonexempt employees
  • Report attendance for exempt employees for payroll processing
  • Maintain data integrity in the HRIS system through auditing and timely data entry accuracy
  • Partake in planning, coordinating and/or implementing HR projects and processes
  • Administer performance management, LOA, worker’s compensation, and merit increase processes for the location
  • Documenting, monitoring and ensuring the organization’s compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Handle employee relation issues
  • Event planning
What you will bring along:
  • BS or AA Degree in Human Resources or Business Management.
  • 3 years related experience in Human Resources.
  • Solid analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office products.(Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience working with HRIS systems(Workday) is beneficial.
  • Bi-lingual(Spanish/English) Communication skills strongly preferred.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
