With the intent of breaking down the barriers to accessing treatment, The Place for Children with Autism works with families to find options to fit their varying financial needs. Utilizing ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy in a center-based environment, our programs are designed with quality as the priority and support as the ongoing means to achieve it. We utilize a comprehensive curriculum to design an individualized program for children ages 2-6 years to fit their needs and prepare them for successful transition to elementary school.

Driven by compassion, science, and our understanding of root causes, we deliver high-quality prevention, treatment, and recovery services to those with complex mental health, substance use, and co-occurring needs.  Position Description:  The Senior Director, Human Resources is a critical member of the Human Resources team with responsibility as a trusted business partner, driver of talent, culture, and DEIB initiatives to deliver measurable results. The individual will be a people leader and will be contributing at both hands-on and strategic levels. Recognize that transformational DEIB work is disruptive, and that we work with that disruption moving everyone forward.Lead, manage, and drive continuous improvement in:Talent acquisitionEmployee onboarding and engagementPerformance managementTotal compensationLearning and developmentHR complianceOrganizational design and implementationDiversity, Equity, Inclusion and BelongingIn partnership with the CPEO, develop a multi year plan for organizational transformation that advances DEIB goals.Identifies development opportunities within leadership and creates and delivers programs to strengthen leadership capability.Design and deliver training at multiple levels of the organization.Serves as a resource and advisor across Caminar programs and regional DEIB committees.Lead workforce planning efforts by analyzing current and future staffing needs, skill gaps, and organizational structure to ensure operational efficiency.Design and oversee performance management systems that align employee goals with company objectives and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.Foster a culture of employee engagement through initiatives such as surveys, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs, ensuring high levels of job satisfaction and commitment.Oversee the development and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent while managing costs effectively.Leverage HR data and analytics to provide insights into workforce trends, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are inclusive and comply with relevant labor laws and regulations, providing guidance to management and employees as needed.Manage complex employee relations issues, investigations, and resolution processes in a fair and consistent manner. Requirements, Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:Must be passionate about Caminarโ€™s mission, equity focused, evidence-based mental health and substance use care and treatment.Proven track record of successfully driving operational improvements through HR initiatives.Executive-level presence with an ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships with senior program leadersAdvanced Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development.Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resources staff members.Ability to use organizational development and change management strategies and tools to enhance engagement and build cultureSolid project management skills, including the ability to effectively deploy resources and manage multiple projects of varied scopes in a cross-functional environmentExcellent oral and written communication skills, with experience in facilitation/presentation, as well as strong organizational skills and acuity with detail.Evaluate and manage all third-party People Ops vendors and partners.Innovative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvementMust be agile and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasksKnowledge of social justice practices such as restorative practice.
